For those of you who don't live nearby, or are unable to join the party, here is a message of Hope for your New Year:
Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those
who fear Him,
on those who hope in
His steadfast love,
that He may deliver their
soul from death and
keep them alive in famine.
Our soul waits for the Lord;
He is our help and our shield.
For our heart is glad in Him,
because we trust in His holy name.
Let your steadfast love, O Lord,
be upon us,
even as we hope in you.
Psalm 33:18-22

Dear Lord,
May your powerful love control us! Give us willingness to die to ourselves daily, and then to live in step with your Spirit. Help us to cling to the beautiful truth that old things have passed away; and yes, new things have come! Cause us to walk in this newness of life. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
