And after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.
I Peter 5:10
Dear God of Grace,
(I ask that) WHEN the inevitable trials of suffering and loss are experienced by each of my children in their lifetime, THEY WOULD CLING TO YOU. Through their various struggles, make them STRONGER in their faith on this earth, while keeping ETERNITY in their heart and mind.
One thing I have asked from the Lord, that will I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and meditate in his temple. For in the day of trouble He will conceal me in His tabernacle; in the secret place of His tent He will hide me. He will lift me on a rock. (Psalm 27:4-5)
Dear Lord, as our hearts dwell in your presence, open our eyes to your beauty, make us aware of your mercy, and cause us to rejoice in your protective care. Amen
