Respite For the Weary
And after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.
I Peter 5:10
Dear God of Grace,
(I ask that) WHEN the inevitable trials of suffering and loss are experienced by each of my children in their lifetime, THEY WOULD CLING TO YOU. Through their various struggles, make them STRONGER in their faith on this earth, while keeping ETERNITY in their heart and mind.
How great are his signs, how mighty are his wonders! His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and his dominion endures from generation to generation. Daniel 4:3
Dear Lord,
You are not going anywhere. You are King Eternal! Every generation, from the beginning of time until the end of it, belongs to you. May we bow our heads and hearts to acknowledge this absolute truth. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
