Dear Holy King,
Please cause my children to recognize their honorable position which has been given to them through Christ. Help them to fully embrace the truth that they are ROYALTY, waiting for their heavenly home. And while they wait, give them the strong desire to fulfill every good work You have prepared for them to do.
But what does it matter? The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice. Philippians 1:18
Dear Lord God,
Thank you for the truth that you can use us in spite of us! You are perfect, we are NOT. Forgive us when our motives are skewed...when we focus on the wrong target. In your lovingkindness, re-fix our gaze on you, Lord Jesus. Become both our motivation and ambition all over again, for the glory of your Name. Amen.
