Dear Helper,
I praise You for the wonderful truth that You are ALWAYS stronger than our flesh. Please pour Your power into the hearts and minds of my children so that they can walk by Your Spirit, which is both freeing and beautiful. In their own circle of influence, I pray that each of them would exhibit YOUR love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
Now at Iconium they (Paul and Barnabas) entered together into the Jewish synagogue and spoke in such a way that a great number of both Jews and Greeks believed. But the unbelieving Jews stirred up the Gentiles and poisoned their minds against the brothers. Acts 14:1-2
Dear Lord,
Make us wise in the knowledge of the truth! Help us to recognize anything, spoken or written, that will lead us astray from your love. Help us not to poison our minds with what culture calls "freedom." Keep us strong in you. Amen.
