Respite For the Weary
In this love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins… we love, because He first loved us.

Dear Love Itself,
I pray that my children would always remember that You are the One who is passionately pursuing their souls. You left heaven's throne to win them with Your love. Continue to catch them, and embrace them, and fill them, so they can then turn around and pour Your love into another.
On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, "If anyone thirsts let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture said, 'Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.'" John 7:37-38
Dear Lord,
Make us thirsty for you. May we respond by coming and drinking and believing! As a result, may our hearts experience the beauty of your promise. Yes, let the rivers flow. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
