Respite For the Weary
For the love of Christ controls us, having concluded this, that one died for all. Therefore all died; and He died for all, that they should no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and rose again on their behalf. therefore from now on we recognize no man according to the flesh; even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer. Dear Lord God,
It is my greatest heart's desire for Your powerful love to control the hearts of my children. Give them a humbled willingness to die to themselves daily, and then to LIVE with Your Spirit reigning inside each of them. Help them cling to the beautiful truth that old things have passed away; and yes, new things have come! Cause my children to WALK in this newness of life.

Dear Lord God,
We ask for your supernatural stirring inside our human hearts. Move within the hearts of those who do know you, and also of those who don't. Blow your refreshing wind into us so that we not only long to do your will, but we also commit to the task until it it complete. Move mountains first in us, then through us. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
