Respite For the Weary
O afflicted one, storm-tossed, and not comforted, behold, I will set your stones in antimony, and your foundations I will lay in sapphires. Moreover, I will make your battlements of rubies, and your gates of crystal, and your entire wall of precious stones. And your sons will be taught of the Lord; and the well-being of your sons will be great.

O God of Peace,
Please come in and steady the hearts of my children when they are weary, confused, sad, or lonely. Rebuild their faith in You, I pray. Make them beautifully strong once again, causing them to shine Your radiance into this dark world. Help them to remember nothing is impossible with You, O God.
As for me, I am poor and needy, but the Lord takes thought of me; you are my help and my deliverer; do not delay, O my God! Psalm 40:17
Dear Lord,
When we feel as if we have nothing within our souls except a desperate cry, please come and restore us again. Yes, merciful Savior, do not delay. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
