The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the afflicted; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives; and freedom to the prisoners.
Isiah 61:1
Dear God in Heaven,
I thank You and praise You that Your Spirit lives in each one of my children. I ask You to rise up in them, O Lord - open their eyes to the afflicted, the brokenhearted, the lost. Make them know and understand that their PURPOSE in life is to take Your saving LOVE to the world.
I am writing to you, little children, because you are forgiven for his name's sake. 1 John 2:12
Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to realize that the reason you granted us forgiveness is so that we can now walk in freedom and purpose. Thank you for washing us clean. Now please help us to be bold for your name's sake. Amen.
