Respite For the Weary
"And I will give them a heart to know Me, for I am the Lord; and they will be My people, and I will be their God, for they will return to Me with their whole heart."
Jeremiah 24: 7
Dear God of Grace,
I pray that you will give my children a heart to KNOW You. May they hear and receive Your loving words of devotion: "they will be My people and I will be their God." When they wander from Your presence, please chase them down with Your love, I pray; and cause them to return to You with a whole heart.
The Lord is my chosen portion and my cup; you hold my lot. The lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; indeed, I have a beautiful inheritance. Psalm 16:5-6
Dear Lord,
May we learn to live within the glorious riches of your grace, mercy, and love! We do not have to wait for our beautiful inheritance. We can enjoy it TODAY. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
