Respite For the Weary
"And I will give them a heart to know Me, for I am the Lord; and they will be My people, and I will be their God, for they will return to Me with their whole heart."
Jeremiah 24: 7
Dear God of Grace,
I pray that you will give my children a heart to KNOW You. May they hear and receive Your loving words of devotion: "they will be My people and I will be their God." When they wander from Your presence, please chase them down with Your love, I pray; and cause them to return to You with a whole heart.
I rejoice greatly in the Lord that at last you have renewed your concern for me. Indeed, you have been concerned, but you had no opportunity to show it. Philippians 4:10
Dear Lord,
If we see a need and we have the opportunity to fill it, help us to seize the moment and give generously. Use us mightily in this way so that your kingdom can progress. Open our hands and our hearts to support those who are spreading your good news around the world. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
