Respite For the Weary
Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him, and make Our abode with him."

Dear Lord and Savior,
I pray my children will understand that genuine LOVE for You requires whole-hearted obedience TO YOU. As they walk in obedience, open their eyes to YOUR LOVE FOR THEM - in Your word and in Your ways. Thank You that You desire to live in their hearts. I pray that You will actively shine through them as they die to self, and live for You.
Then my enemies will turn back in the day when I call. This I know, that God is for me. In God, whose word I praise, in the Lord whose word I praise. Psalm 56:9-10
Dear Lord,
Help us to realize that the more we trust the truths in your word, the sharper our swords become. Our enemies have no chance against you. Fight for us and through us, Mighty God. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
