Respite For the Weary
Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him, and make Our abode with him."
John 14: 23
Dear Lord and Savior,
I pray my children will understand that genuine LOVE for You requires whole-hearted obedience TO YOU. As they walk in obedience, open their eyes to YOUR LOVE FOR THEM - in Your word and in Your ways. Thank You that You desire to live in their hearts. I pray that You will actively shine through them as they die to self, and live for You.
But there were some of them, men of Cyprus and Cyrene, who on coming to Antioch spoke to the Hellenists also, preaching the Lord Jesus. And the hand of the Lord was with them, and a great number who believed turned to the Lord. Acts 11:21
Dear Lord,
Thank you for the promise that you will strongly support those whose hearts are fully yours (2 Chronicles 16:9). Give us the desire to follow you in each step, speak of you in Spirit-led conversations, and praise you in the presences of many. Our hearts' desire is for a great number to believe and turn to you. In Jesus' Name, Amen
