Respite For the Weary
For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.
Luke 18: 14
Dear Holy God,
I pray my children would learn to humble themselves before You on a daily basis. Keep them aware of both Your majesty and Your mercy, causing them to worship You as their King AND Savior.
So the woman left her water jar and went away into town and said to the people, "Come, see..." John 4:28
Dear Lord,
Please make us brave about your goodness; make us bold about your love; make us fearless about our faith; make us willing to say these powerful words that could possibly change a life: "Come and see..." In Jesus' Name, Amen.
