Respite For the Weary
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.

Dear Holy One,
I pray my children will have a strong desire to keep their hearts pure from the different, fleeting pleasures this world offers them. In doing so, may You open the eyes of their heart so they can see the beauty and wonder of who You are.
But what does it matter? The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice. Philippians 1:18
Dear Lord God,
Thank you for the truth that you can use us in spite of us! You are perfect, we are NOT. Forgive us when our motives are skewed...when we focus on the wrong target. In your lovingkindness, re-fix our gaze on you, Lord Jesus. Become both our motivation and ambition all over again, for the glory of your Name. Amen.
