Respite For the Weary
Who is a God like You, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of his inheritance? You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy. You will again have compassion on us; You will tread our sins underfoot and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea.
Micah 7: 18-19
O God,
There is none like You! Thank You for Your compassion; thank You for Your grace; thank You for delighting in MERCY! Please Lord, convince my children that their sins have been demolished under your strong foot and hurled far from them by Your holy hand. May they wear no shame. Cover them, I pray.

Help us to realize that when we are lazy, we are wasting the good gifts and talents you have given us. Please fill us with fervor to keep on keepin' on, knowing that we are your workmanship meant to give you glory with every breath. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
