Respite For the Weary
Who is a God like You, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of his inheritance? You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy. You will again have compassion on us; You will tread our sins underfoot and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea.
Micah 7: 18-19
O God,
There is none like You! Thank You for Your compassion; thank You for Your grace; thank You for delighting in MERCY! Please Lord, convince my children that their sins have been demolished under your strong foot and hurled far from them by Your holy hand. May they wear no shame. Cover them, I pray.
Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. Ephesians 6:11
Dear Lord,
Help us to not forget to get dressed. You provide all that we need to be protected from the evil one. By faith, prepare us for battle as we take the time to cover ourselves from head to toe in the power of your Spirit and the truth of your word. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
