A Passage and A Prayer... Micah 7:18-19

By Chris Baxter

Who is a God like You, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of his inheritance? You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy. You will again have compassion on us; You will tread our sins underfoot and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea.

Micah 7: 18-19

O God,
There is none like You! Thank You for Your compassion; thank You for Your grace; thank You for delighting in MERCY! Please Lord, convince my children that their sins have been demolished under your strong foot and hurled far from them by Your holy hand. May they wear no shame. Cover them, I pray.

The walk of a Christian is marked by this...

And walk in love, just as Christ also loved us and gave himself up for us, an offering and sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma. Ephesians 5:2

Dear Lord,

May we follow in your footsteps and walk in your love, especially when we don't want to. Fill us up with your sweet-smelling, sacrificial Spirit and give us the determination to keep on pouring out...just the way you did when you climbed the hill of Calvary. In your Name, Amen.
